Mumbai, popularly known as the financial capital of India, places a high premium on the MBA degree.
Some of the country’s leading business schools are located in Mumbai which has also become an important zone for international business schools looking to set up centers or offshore campuses. In fact, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania recently announced that it would set up a center in Mumbai for conducting executive education programs.
The city is also the commercial and entertainment capital of India, one of the world's top 10 centers of commerce in terms of global financial flow, generating 5% of India's GDP.
