Home to some of India’s leading academic institutions, the New Delhi/National Capital Region (NCR) is a prominent destination for students from different corners of the country. The city has a large number of business schools, such as the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Management Studies, the Institute of Management Technology and the Management Development Institute, among others.
New Delhi has a significant number of MBA aspirants. In fact, nearly a quarter of the Common Admission Test (CAT) takers are from the Delhi/NCR region, which includes Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad. Students from neighbouring towns and cities also add to this population of MBA aspirants, as they flock to New Delhi for their MBA education.
