Our MBA programmes have international and enterprise focuses as key components and specialist routes. The programmes are available in a range of study modes. We currently offer MBA and MBA Oil and Gas Management courses and they can be studied full-time, part-time and distance-learning.
Our MBA programmes follow a progression from Core Management modules through specialist Elective Modules and thereafter to a Strategic Management module. The Core Management modules provide an underpinning to all essential functional decision-making skills required by a general manager and introduces aspects of strategic analysis and thinking.
The electives allow students to specialise in areas that match their individual interests and career aspirations. The Strategic Management module, a major element of the programme, develops a comprehensive understanding of the Strategic Management process, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to operate at Board and CEO level. The programmes are completed with the submission of a consultancy project in which theory and experience are brought together to analyse and resolve real and complex organisational problems. Full time students have the opportunity to undertake a placement as part of the consultancy project; further ensuring the business relevance of their work.
