The AIM student population is multinational and primarily Asian. About 40% of degree students come from Asian countries other than the Philippines. Under the International Student Exchange Program, an MBA student can spend a term in one of AIMs premier partner business schools.
The average age of an incoming MBA student is 26; Master in Management, 34; Executive MBA, 36; and Master in Development Management, 37.
AIM uses the case method as the primary mode of learning in all its programs. In collaboration with a seasoned professor, students analyze real-life solutions in class discussions, and learn important concepts and skills. They are drilled in evaluating hundreds of cases during their course to sharpen their managerial skills. An AIM education means rigorous training, up-to-date management concepts, and emphasis on analytical, people management and leadership skills. AIM is likewise known for its intense and practitioner-oriented approach to management education.
MBA and MM students receive from a Career Management Services office extra support services such as career counseling sessions and seminars on interview protocols, negotiation, career planning, corporate etiquette, and ethical conduct, all done with the help of resource persons from various industries.
