Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB)

Overview

The continued success of AUEB's MBA International Program relies to a large extent on its students and alumni, members of a group that is committed to professional excellence. International orientation, strong intellectual ability and academic performance, a dynamic personality, and an active pursuit of professional advancement, all combined with an interest in the societal issues and a sense of public responsibility and volunteerism, are the key characteristics we are looking for in our students.

Two particular assets of the program are the Career office and the MBA International Alumni Association. On entering AUEB, students begin an enriching lifelong relationship with the Alumni Association, an active community that includes more than 40,000 members. Through many opportunities including corporate visits and talks, Field Study Projects, mentor relationships, and many career events, AUEB students interact with and learn from accomplished alumni. Representing all sectors of the economy and more than 20 foreign countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, AUEB Alumni support students, the program, and one another.

There are also a number of active student clubs, as well as a number of athletic clubs, such as the soccer and sailing clubs. At the same time being in Athens, an exciting place of unique culture, the European way of thinking, the celebrated Mediterranean cuisine, the vibrant cosmopolitan life, will all conspire to make studies a fulfilling experience.
