The MBA with a difference
Coventry University Business School is excited to be offering MBA students a unique opportunity to undertake an Internship module as an integral part of their study programme.
This innovative module provides students with the opportunity to develop and practically apply their skills, knowledge and business acumen through working on a real live project .The placements are based in the challenging, dynamic and often demanding world of the workplace.
In addition to experiencing work and business culture in the country of placement, students will benefit from working alongside and being mentored by successful, proven and high calibre managers and leaders many of whom hold MBA qualifications. Students will also have the opportunity to not only see the results of their work implemented, thus contributing to the success of the host organisation in a measurable way but, also, to be able to evidence their own personal abilities and achievements to future employers.
The number of organisations partnering the university is increasing continually. Placements are being offered in many fields across the private, public and voluntary sectors allowing students to add that something extra to their MBA qualification.
Undertaking the Internship module will test and challenge students, from the academic requirements, through the competitive selection process, to finally working in the host company completing and presenting their project to their management board. In return, the internship will enhance future employability and career prospects, develop skills, improve networking and open students to numerous business opportunities making their MBA studies at Coventry a unique and rewarding experience.
