The Cambridge MBA
Study for a world-class MBA at the University of Cambridge.
Judge Business School, recognised as one of the worlds leading
providers of business education, sits at the heart of the
internationally renowned University of Cambridge. Offering one of the most international MBAs in the world, 94% of students are from outside the UK, the cohort representing 43 different countries. Our world famous faculty members are also drawn from every continent, with research interests that span the globe and the full spectrum of business issues. Many are leaders in their field, directing cutting-edge research, consulting for top businesses, advising governments, and bringing their new found knowledge to the classroom.
In keeping with the best traditions of the University of Cambridge, classes are small but diverse. This makes for a highly personal but constantly challenging learning environment. The Cambridge Leadership Seminar series is one example of the unique experiences open to Cambridge MBAs, allowing them to meet, question and be inspired by leading figures in business and society. Speakers have included the Worldwide MD of McKinsey & Co, the Chairman of Barclays Bank, the Vice Chairman of JP Morgan Chase and the CEOs of Procter & Gamble, Reuters, Saatchi and Saatchi, Toyota and Vodafone.
The Programme
Taught through a mixture of interactive seminars, lectures, case studies and group work, the Cambridge MBA is a one year, general management programme, which provides a comprehensive grounding in business fundamentals. The innovative design of the programme also enables students to focus on areas of particular interest, for example Finance, Strategy, Marketing or Entrepreneurship, through careful selection of the varied range of electives, consulting projects and special interest groups.
Consulting projects, which are an integral component of the Cambridge MBA, give students the opportunity to work with some of the worlds leading corporations whilst putting into practice new skills and ideas learnt in the classroom. Students regularly work with some of the worlds most prestigious multinational businesses, including Apple, BP, KPMG, JP Morgan, IBM and The World Health Organisation - as well as many of the innovative high-technology companies that cluster around Cambridge, such as Cambridge Antibody Technology, Xaar, and ARM.
Careers
The Cambridge MBA careers team works alongside the students throughout their MBA to help them achieve their true career potential. Their approach is highly collaborative and personalised, the careers programme being an integral part of the MBA, enabling frequent and rich interaction between students and careers advisors.
