Live consultancy experience as you study
Delegates work with a client company to gain hands-on consultancy as they study. All MBA students are given the opportunity to work in an organisation in the UK. Our Business development team provide introductions to client companies with whom students work closely during Semester 2 & 3.
Additional professional qualifications
Our programme enables you to become a 'Chartered Manager' immediately after completing your MBA . Our MBA programme has also been approved and accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing to meet the entry criteria for the Professional Certificate in Marketing.
Summer Schools
We provide a heavily- subsidised opportunity for you to spend some time studying business overseas. We have strong relationships with a range of top Business Schools both in Europe and further afield. Currently these include Mannheim , Germany, Vienna , Austria, Linkoping in Sweden and SP Jain in Mumbai and Dubai. We take your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) extremely seriously. All Sheffield MBA students are offered a programme which includes the 'soft skills that you need to succeed. This includes everything from how to conduct yourself in a board meeting to how to run an interview.
Business Engagement opportunities
MBA Students have the opportunity to network with business leaders and School alumni via our HSBC sponsored Expert Lecture series. The School has close links with the international Entrepreneurs festival ('MADE') in Sheffield, and organises a series of company visits.
