Elena Demidenko (Global MBA, finance learning pathway)
Since commencing her MBA with Manchester Business School, Elena has progressed from a financial controller in the shipping industry in her native Russia, to working for one of the top four consultancy firms in the world, based in Sydney.
After completing the taught part of the MBA I moved from Moscow to Australia where I have been offered excellent senior positions at well known international companies. At the same time the blended learning approach allowed me to continue with my dissertation, allowing for portability of study.
In addition I have advanced my managerial and consulting skills and have a broader international strategic outlook. I feel more comfortable in the world of international business, easily finding common language with senior management worldwide. These abilities directly contribute to the better service quality which the company delivers, which translates to business development and growth.
