The Neeley EMBA program at TCU combines excellent faculty, experienced students, cutting edge educational technology and classes with appropriate enrollments to create a stimulating learning environment. This 16 month program is designed to meet two educational needs of already successful managers and executives who wish to advance their careers.
One educational need is the development of extensive business knowledge. To do this, the curriculum includes courses in accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, operations, statistics, supply chain, and business strategy. In all classes, instructors emphasize the application of course content into business operations through discussions that require students to use their experience – based knowledge.

The second educational need is the development of leadership skills which is accomplished through six components: a) the specification of six skills that are critical for executive leadership success: strategic vision, analysis, decision making, influencing others, teamwork, and communication; b) an executive leadership course that addresses applied leadership issues; c) the requirement of a leadership skill development plan; d) an assigned professional coach to each student; e) results from leadership behavior surveys collected from direct reports, peers, and managers; and e) faculty assessments of each student’s demonstration of one leadership skill during each course.
