Surrey Business School provides business and management education to students from around the globe and the quality of our teaching and research is reflected in accreditation from both AMBA and AACSB. We are ideally placed, not only close to London and major transport links, but at the heart of the UKs most vibrant business economy with an annual output of £26.5bn. Surrey is home to head offices for international companies, innovative organisations working in the science and technology fields and a high proportion of successful smaller entrepreneurial business and start-ups.
The Surrey MBA programme offers a solid grounding in the theory and practice of modern business management. As a professional with managerial experience you already have a wide range of knowledge and skills; our programme will challenge your thinking and improve your understanding and expertise across a range of management disciplines. You will develop the key skills required to lead and manage successfully in the competitive global business environment.
The programme comprises a set of core management subjects followed by a choice of optional modules allowing you to tailor your MBA to your career aspirations. You will also complete a consultancy based project with a UK organisation, a programme of professional skills development workshops, an individual dissertation on a topic of your choice and be offered dedicated careers counselling. In addition there is an optional overseas study tour.
Our students come from a wide range of business and international backgrounds and many are entrepreneurs building their own businesses.
