MBA students at Wake Forest University range from young professionals who leave the workplace to redirect their careers in the full-time program to experienced working professionals looking to advance their careers while continuing to work full-time.
The average full-time MBA student is 28 years old and has almost five years of work experience. Two years of full-time, postgraduate work is required for admission. Twenty-three percent of the most recent incoming class is international and 14% is comprised of minorities.
The schools evening programs in Winston-Salem and Charlotte and the Charlotte Saturday program are designed for professionals, managers and entrepreneurs with strong job performance and potential for advancement. A minimum of three years of professional experience is required, and the average work experience is about eight years. The average age for these programs ranges from 31 to 33, and approximately 15 percent of each program is comprised of minorities.
