The QS Leadership Scholarships for MBA and Postgraduate Studies
This scholarship is designed to identify a World MBA Tour or World Grad School Tour participant who demonstrates exceptionally strong leadership potential and innovative thinking.

Two scholarship awards of $10,000 each (one MBA applicant, one postgraduate applicant):

The criteria are:

• Admittance to a Top 100 Global MS or MBA Program. (See the MBA Career Guide for list of schools - copies available at all World MBA Tour venues and online at www.topmba.com/bookstore)
• Academic achievement
• Submitting an essay (max. 750 words) on the topic "Where I have demonstrated responsible leadership, or innovation, and how it made a difference (either in my community or in my work)"

The successful candidates will demonstrate their proven ability to innovate and lead.The winner of the award is selected by a jury of distinguished alumni form Global Workplace and education specialists from amongst the World MBA Tour media partners.

Chicago BSB has long attracted students with more than just solid work experience and high test scores—they have the vision and determination to shape the future of business. The Admissions Committee also looks for students who have demonstrated the ability to succeed through academic endeavors and extracurricular involvement or community service.

Chicago BSB is pleased to partner with QS World MBA Tour to offer a $40,000 merit-based scholarship, renewable annually, to one incoming full-time MBA student.

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must have attended a QS World MBA Tour Fair, submitted an application for admission to the full-time MBA program at Chicago BSB, be admitted and intend to matriculate in Fall 2009.

To be considered for the scholarship, students must fill out an application, which includes an essay of no more than 500 words, and attach a copy of their most recent resume. The essay must address the following topic:
"Chicago BSB values students who bring a variety of viewpoints to our community. What unique perspective will you add as a member of the incoming class?"

QS - Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School scholarships are worth a total of €425,000, in association with some of the world's leading MBA recruiters, including ING, KPMG, Deloitte and Ernst & Young, and are awarded only to attendees of the QS World MBA Tour in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009.

By attending a fair, MBA candidates become eligible to apply for one of the 20 scholarships which cover 50% of tuition, awarded if the school offers the candidate a place on the Vlerick Leuven Gent MBA. These scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis and winners will be announced in summer 2009, on acceptance of a place at Vlerick Leuven Gent Full-time MBA program.

EMLYON is joining the team of QS World MBA Tour scholarship providers and is offering one scholarship worth 50% of tuition fees, approx. €15,000. This scholarship will be awarded to one successful applicant for the EMLYON International MBA program.

The criteria are:

• Candidates must have attended the QS World MBA Tour Fair in Fall 2008 or Spring 2009
• Submit an essay (max. 500 words) on the topic:

"What event(s) in your life best illustrate that you are an entrepreneur at heart, and deserve to be granted the Entrepreneurial Scholarship 2009”

SKOLKOVO Challenge is a competition of business projects and start up ideas intended to attract forward-looking entrepreneurs. The participants are asked to present their innovative business projects targeted at one or several fast-growing economies of Russia, India or China to a jury of high caliber international business leaders, who will then choose the three winners, one of them coming from the QS World MBA Tour.

The winning sum is €50,000 the full tuition-waiving scholarship.

A successful application should meet the following criteria:

• Innovativeness and applicability to one or several fast-developing economies of Russia, India, or China
• Exact time for the project’s implementation - the first part of 2011
• Focus on business development or social entrepreneurship
• Clear project description, 10 pages max

The Joseph Wharton Fellowship is awarded to the student that best exemplifies the values of our community.

It acknowledges demonstrated achievements in proven leadership, a commitment to professional excellence, and an impact on an organization and/or group. The Wharton School, in association with the QS World MBA Tour, is making such fellowship available to one admitted student who has registered and visited a QS World MBA Tour event. The scholarship is worth US$30,000 per annum (awarded each year the student is enrolled, subject to the student remaining in good academic standing.

To apply, you must meet Wharton representatives at any World MBA Tour fair and then submit an essay of no more than 250 words.

The essay must describe:
"How I will make an impact as a leader in the Wharton community (academic, extracurricular, school organizations, etc.)."

The QS Melbourne Business School International Scholarship is designed to attract high calibre international students to MBS. The full-time MBA class is highly diverse and attracts students from all over the world and from every industry. This broad and varied mix of students enriches the learning environment and contributes to a global understanding of business.

This scholarship is aimed at highly competent students that can demonstrate above average academic ability and unique professional and personal attributes that will enhance the quality of the student body. The scholarship will cover 50% of the tuition fee.

To be eligible, students must have attended one of the QS World MBA Tour fairs, and qualify for admission through the schools normal procedures. Only applicants that have been accepted into the program will be considered.

In addition, those wishing to be considered for this scholarship must answer the following additional question:

“Why would you make a good MBS ambassador, and why are you especially suited to take advantage of this scholarship” (max. 300 words)
