“My experience at the AGSM was outstanding”
After 5 years as a finance and corporate lawyer I was frustrated with my career path and wanted to expand my expertise, acquire new skills and increase my opportunities. An MBA seemed to be the perfect solution.
After considering a variety of US schools, I chose Australia and the Asia Pacific’s leading business school for a variety of reasons including the reputation and quality of the program, faculty and students, the fact that it was the only Australian business school to offer an exchange school program with the likes of Wharton, Chicago and the London Business School. The smaller class sizes not only meant personal attention it allowed me to form lifelong friendships with my fellow students from all over the world. An AGSM scholarship made the decision to return to full-time graduate study that much easier.
In 2004, I went on exchange to Wharton and was part of the winning AGSM Wombats rugby team, which competes in the World MBA rugby championships each April at Duke University in North Carolina.
