Bond University School of Business

The School of Business:

Practical applications of business theory, the quality of the business faculty, the diversity of the student body and innovative teaching methods distinguish the School of Business at Bond University.

The MBA curriculum is designed to prepare students for upper level management roles where decisionmaking depends on the ability to integrate knowledge from every business area – finance, marketing, accounting, economics, information technology and human resources – and combine that with executive management skills and strong leadership.
Following extensive consultation with global corporations, the Bond MBA emphasizes three important themes:

• leadership development
• global business
• entrepreneurial thinking

MBA students may specialise in Finance, Marketing and Project Management. Long known for the strength of its offerings in Finance and Marketing, the School of Business has recently added Project Management, one of the fastest growing career paths worldwide. Project management skills are in demand in every field, including finance, IT, construction, health care and government.
A differentiating feature of the Bond MBA is the commitment to the individual. That means study in small classes and access to senior faculty who know you by name. The chance to have internationally known faculty take a personal interest in your success represents a unique educational opportunity.

Global Alumni Network

We seek students who are innovative, growthoriented, and who possess the potential to become global business leaders. Bond MBA graduates (known as “Bondies”) form a tight knit and mutually supportive worldwide network. Students from the Bond MBA program live and work in more than 40 countries around the world. The educational experience at Bond produces internationally competitive graduates. Bond MBA teams outperform many of the world’s best known universities at the prestigious annual Global Moot Corp Competition in Texas. In the last 14 years, Bond MBA students have been World Champions three times (1994, 1996 and 2000) and have earned award winning results in every one of their 14 years of participation.

Student Profile

Dawne Young, Recent MBA Student

With a wealth of marketing experience under her belt, Dawne joined Bond’s flexible MBA program satisfied that she would graduate in one year. Dawn says, “Bond is recognised as an international school and to have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and be exposed to other cultures is a huge advantage. The understanding and appreciation of culture is so important for knowing how to do business abroad and because there are people from all over the world in a small class setting, you really are exposed to this reality first hand.”

“Compared with other universities, Bond has a lot of opportunities for social interaction to get to know everyone. I was particularly deficient in certain areas of business but the MBA brought me up to speed and furthered my knowledge base and I’m now equipped to enter the workforce.”
