Student Profile

Jasleen Kaur Nationality: Indian Education: B.Eng.(Electronics)

As an eleven-year old, I dreamed of settling in North America. I envisioned having a professional career upon obtaining higher education from a North American university. The warm and welcoming attitude of Canadians became apparent to me during my initial interactions with the admission officials at the educational institutions I contacted.

I was attracted by the uniqueness of the MBA program offered by the University of Saskatchewan (U of S). The University is situated in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, one of the sunniest cities in Canada, which offers warmth and hopes of a bright future to its residents. The comparatively low living and education costs, coupled with the availability of many amenities, made graduate work at the U of S even more attractive.

I have developed skills to be an effective team member, to lead others, and to be effective in interpersonal relationships through enhanced self-confidence, communication, presentation and negotiation skills. In addition, my capacity to diagnose
the changes required to achieve business success and the power to implement these changes have also increased dramatically.

From this ferment of rich educational development, I have emerged with an ambition to change the world‚ and more importantly, attained the skills and selfconfidence to do so!
