The Adelaide Graduate School of Business MBA
Not everyone wants to live, work or study in big cities. Indeed, some of the world’s great universities are in “university towns”. This helps define the character of the international student who comes to a relatively small, but sophisticated city such as Adelaide, Australia.
Most of the world wants to visit Australia. Many young, experienced business people have shared that by studying in Australia, they were able to really get to know what a great country this is to live in, at the same time completing their MBA qualification. This is particularly the case for those who love fine food, great wine, sports, arts, culture and friendly people!
Adelaide has all of these and more. Compared with the better known tourist centres of this country, Adelaide enjoys a lower cost of living, is very easy to get around, has good public transport, great cultural festivals, and is a microcosm of some of the world’s future problems that already present interesting challenges for business, including the adequate supply of water, energy, and other natural resources.
The University of Adelaide is a member of the Australian ‘Group of Eight’ prestigious universities. The MBA degree, run through the Adelaide Graduate School of Business, is one of the two oldest in Australia, and the school has over 40 years of experience in delivering high quality post graduate programs. We have two MBA program: a standard program which can be completed in as little as a year (fast track option), and the MBA Advanced which takes between 1.5 to 2 years to complete in full-time mode. Our 5 star* MBA offers a range of elective choices, allowing for specialisations in people management, strategy, international business, and other disciplines.
Our faculty is drawn from across Australia and internationally, and selected for its teaching skills. The faculty is in the process of AACSB accreditation to further enhance our international reputation. Small class sizes mean you are not just a face in a crowd, but a recognised and valued member of the school community. Students also value their experience here because of our friendly administrative staff and fast, efficient service. Tailored support programs for international MBA students, and a dedicated career advisory service, complete the total Adelaide experience.
Travelling for the purpose of study is becoming normal. Travelling to Australia is a lifetime dream for many people. A sound MBA will not only impart skills that will aid in your management career, it will also have an impact on your life in terms of attitudes, values and experiences.
Life is becoming busier and your career is likely to take many turns. Taking time out to complete an MBA, in a quiet but enjoyable location, is the ideal choice for many – a choice that discerning business people come to value more the longer they are here.
We look forward to welcoming you at the University of Adelaide and to the Adelaide Graduate School of Business.
