TESTIMONY
Ian Cathcart
Age: 32
Course attending: Audencia MBA
Country of origin: UK
Previous degree obtained: MSc Water Management
Ian began studying at Audencia after having spent three years working in New Zealand's water industry. This followed experience in the same sector with Three Valleys Water in the UK.
"I wanted to avoid the easy option of doing an MBA in Britain and instead use the opportunity to get a totally new experience elsewhere. Audencia was recommended to me by a work colleague in New Zealand and I was impressed both by the programme and the contact with the school. France seemed a good choice as I was keen to develop my language skills. I knew that the school was one of the top 'Grandes Ecoles' in France, and it's got the three big accreditations which means it's a quality institution. The virtual tour I took on the web site confirmed the good impression I'd already got and my friends and family were right behind my decision. Everything just fell into place.
"Now I'm here, that decision has been proved right. The school and my fellow students are what I hoped for, while the programme has allowed me to question some of the ideas I had and put a new perspective on things. This could well see me changing career path after my studies."
