Overview

The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management is on a mission to become one of the world's top ten business schools. Located in the heart of North America's 3rd largest financial centre, the Rotman School is taking an innovative approach to management education, built around integrative thinking and business design.

Rotman students are immersed in an innovative curriculum noted for its cross-functional, integrative approach. The Rotman MBA combines theoretical and practical understanding of all the core disciplines with an ability to think across the functions and solve complex problems in a holistic manner. Our students leave here unwilling to take the world as it is presented to them. At Rotman, we enhance their ability to shape -- for the better -- both the world around them and their place in it.

Enrolling at Rotman brings students to the heart of a highly-diverse, elite learning community comprised of world-renowned professors, business luminaries, leading recruiters and fellow students and alumni from around the world. New students instantly become part of this thriving community. High-calibre classmates dramatically enhance the learning experience and provide a lifetime network of friends and contacts. Upon graduation, Rotman graduates stay actively involved in the school, joining a vibrant worldwide alumni community of more than 16,000 graduates in 73 countries. Top global firms actively recruit Rotman MBA students, who are supported in their job search by a professional Corporate Connections Centre.

The School offers a variety of graduate programs in management designed to meet the needs of managers, professionals, and scholars at various stages of their careers. The Full-Time MBA Program begins in September and takes 20 months to complete including a four-month break for summer internships. The Part-Time Evening MBA Program begins in May and allows professionals to complete their Rotman MBA in just three years while continuing to work full time. The world’s first Morning MBA program was launched in September 2007, designed for those looking for a complete MBA experience over 32 months without sacrificing their professional or personal lives. The One-Year MBA for Executives, which is designed to enhance the leadership capabilities of senior managers, begins in September and March. Class days are alternating Fridays and Saturdays and there are also four one-week residential modules. The School also offers a first-rate doctoral program, the Rotman PhD. Combined programs are offered with the faculties of Law (JD/MBA), Engineering (BASc/MBA), and the Centre for Russian and East European Studies.
