Overview

The Farmer School at Miami University offers a concentrated, functionally-integrated 14-month fulltime MBA program. This general management program combines classroom training with experiential learning. The program begins with a 6-week, intensive "bootcamp." Concurrent with fall & spring semester classes, each student completes an internship with an area company as part of a small MBA team. The final six weeks of the program is an international field study where students travel abroad to complete projects for organizations in Europe or Asia.

Princeton Review recently ranked the Miami MBA's "Classroom Experience" to be among the ten best. Miami faculty are known for quality teaching and the personal attention they give to students. The class pedogogy is approximately 50/50% lecture/case. Classes are small - approximately 35 students who all bring 2+ years of professional experience.

The program begins in mid-May. Currently, all students hold graduate assistantships or receive some form of financial assistance.

The Farmer School's part time program has been undergoing a curriculum review. The revised program begins in Fall 2009.
