Overview
The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary is a progressive and innovative business school with an international reputation for management education through quality teaching and research. With more than 3,000 students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, PhD and executive education programs, the School boasts 18,000 alumni in 60 countries. At Haskayne, we encourage and promote basic, applied and instructional scholarship. We are committed to high quality research in all areas of business management including accounting, finance, human resources and organizational dynamics, marketing, management information systems, operations management and strategic management. We are known for our pioneering efforts in specialized fields such as global energy management and sustainable development, risk management, tourism and entrepreneurship.
The Haskayne School of Business was one of the first business schools in Canada to receive accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The Haskayne School of Business is located in Scurfield Hall which is designed for interactive learning with a management skills development lab, computer labs, syndicate rooms for group meetings and lecture theatres all equipped with state-of-the-art learning technologies. The Business Library is one of the best in North America with 70 business-related electronic databases available on the library website and more than 650 databases available through the University library system. There area more than 5,500 business journals available online. The majority of our databases and online journals are available from off-campus. We also have a Bloomberg terminal, a Reuters station and a growing collection of e-books.
The Haskayne Career Centre helps students and alumni find careers through professional development sessions, job postings, company information sessions and visits from top corporate recruiters. These dedicated services are available to Haskayne students throughout their time at the school and following graduation.

A four-year undergraduate degree is the norm, but some of our students have already completed another graduate degree.
