MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program offers a broad-based, interactive curriculum focused on developing socially responsible leaders who make thoughtful decisions that impact their organization and the world at large.

Graduates are prepared to undertake leadership and management responsibilities in business, governmental and non-profit organizations.

Program flexibility allows for degree completion in two years or in 16 months on am accelerated basis. Program specializations tailored to individual interests are available.

Centers and Institutes of the School of Business offer an array of opportunities to MBA students including internships, international consulting practicums, and study abroad programs.

INTERNATIONAL MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (IMBA)

The International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) is a full-time, cohort-based program educating leaders with a global orientation and skills to succeed in the international marketplace.

As in the case of the MBA, program flexibility allows for degree completion in two years or 16 months. Cohort classes are kept small, promoting interactive learning.

Program design incorporates the flexibility for numerous study abroad options: completing a Dual Degree; enrolling in a semester exchange program; participating in USD study abroad opportunities in such countries as Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Morocco, and Spain.

An international practicum (strategic consulting project) integrating core course skills in an international environment is a required component of the program. These opportunities are sponsored by USD’s privately endowed Ahlers Center for International Business.
