Overview

Global Reach. Innovative Programs. Diverse Perspectives.

Business today is global – your MBA degree in business management should be too. The Schulich School of Business is your passport to the world, offering you a degree that is globally recognized. Schulich continues to extend its global footprint with new satellite centres in Beijing and Shanghai, China; Mumbai, India; Seoul, Korea; and Moscow, Russia.

The Schulich MBA is ranked in the world’s top tier of best business schools by The Wall Street Journal (11th in the world in “Top International Schools” ranking); The Economist – Economist Intelligence Unit (12th in the world); Forbes (6th best non-US school); The Aspen Institute, a US think tank (1st in the world in Social and Environmental Stewardship); and Expansión (21st in the world) in their most recent global surveys. They also rank the Schulich MBA 1st in Canada.

The Schulich MBA and International MBA (IMBA) degrees offer innovative programmes, unparalleled choice and flexible programming. Choose from 18
different specialized streams in order to pair functional and industry-specific expertise to build a highly marketable competitive advantage. You can start your programme in September or January and finish a fulltime MBA in only 16 months. If you qualify for the accelerated MBA programme, you can shorten your length of study to only 8 months. Part-time options include evening or weekend programmes.

The Schulich MBA offers the advantages of a highly diverse teaching faculty and student community. Combined with its global business partnerships, which allow for study abroad in more than 40 cities, this diversity ensures that your experience will be truly international.

Go global with the Schulich International MBA (IMBA). This unique degree programme allows you to broaden your horizons and leverage your Canadian and international experience by specializing in global trading regions working and studying abroad.

Schulich provides a unique diverse culture. York University is located in Toronto, one of the most diverse cities in the world with a population that is more than 50 percent non-Canadian. Situated in the financial and cultural centre of Canada, Schulich gives you access to the head offices of many organizations. This vast corporate network enables Schulich students to develop strong linkages into the global business community. Schulich’s new $104-million building complex is striking by its sheer scale and scope. Yet, the building is about shapes and the way stone, steel and wood conspire to create spaces that bring people together. It is a dynamic, interactive learning environment and these spaces foster community and help build lasting relationships. At the end of the day, that is what business is all about.

“Our mission here at Schulich is clear and compelling: to graduate men and women who will become business leaders of the highest caliber, and to prepare them to succeed in a constantly changing world. If you seek a highly rewarding and stimulating MBA or IMBA programme, in a learning environment that is truly international, then I invite you to come to Canada’s Global Business School™ – The Schulich School of Business.” – Dean Dezsö J. Horváth
