The MBA International was founded in 1999 and is hosted by the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), the leading Greek University in the areas of Economics and Business Administration. MBA International is a vibrant and innovative postgraduate program offering a personalized, technology-focused and strongly networked educational experience that empowers the future of its graduates. It aims to strengthen the labor market for specialized functions, which have modern techniques and skills for the design and implementation of operational objectives in today’s global, complex, competitive and technologically advanced environment. Accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) since 2005, enjoying top positions in international rankings and with its graduates working across the globe, the program is highly reputed in the market both in Greece and internationally. The Program is offered exclusively in English.

The MBA International has attracted students from more than 30 countries. It is offered as a Full Time program (16 months duration with daytime and evening classes). The Program offers a rich, innovative, and dynamically evolving curriculum, which allows students to customize their learning experience to fit their individual interests and professional needs, including opting for specific concentrations. Students can choose either the General Track (Business Administration) or one of the five concentrations offered in Finance, Marketing & Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Technology, Logistics & Operations. Moreover, a Personal Skills Development Program helps students improve their soft skills through a variety of pedagogical and hands-on activities.

Various graduation projects that take place in collaboration with companies and organizations, mostly multinationals, allow students to apply in practice what they have learnt in class and work on real business challenges. The Program has a world-renowned resident and visiting faculty, with extensive teaching, research and consulting activity in Greece and abroad. All resident faculty of the Program hold PhD degrees.

MBA International offers fast-tracks, through specific elective courses, to international professional qualifications such GRI (the Global Reporting Index) and CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants). Moreover, the elective in Project management complies with the PMI framework of the Project Management Institute.

The MBA International further invests in strong bonds with the market through its Business Advisory Council (BAC), which consists of business leaders from Greek and multinational companies, through Business Lectures across the curriculum, C-Suite and Alumni speaking series.

All MBA International students and graduates have access to personalized career services, supporting them in their quest for challenging international career opportunities. Highly competitive fees make the MBA International a fast-returning investment. The Program’s Career Office supports students and alumni, providing all the tools for a successful career during and after completion of their studies, while acting as a link between the program and the global job market.

Applications open during early January each year and close at the end of May. The intake is every September. Applicants should hold a University degree from a formally recognized Greek or foreign University. For non-Greek degrees a recognition by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition Information Centre, DOATAP, is required.
