Full Time MBA Overview

Graduates from the IMBA receive two MBA Degrees: one from ESIC and one from SISU. This makes the MBA the first programme of its kind where participants can get a degree from both a Chinese and a European institution in a completely integrated programme of studies. It is also the first Chinese MBA dual degree open to foreign citizens according to Xinhua News (other programmes offer dual MBA degrees from international institutions for Chinese participants).

This Dual MBA Degree programme received the EFMD EPAS accreditation in 2016 (i.e. both institutions are included in the accreditation) and the AMBA accreditation in 2018; the MBA is still the only international (two countries) dual degree programme accredited by the EFMD. The number of candidates is limited by the quota set by the Chinese government (not only to ESIC-SISU IMBA, to all MBAs in China), the current quota for this programme is 30 per year (a number that will change from 2019).

Candidates in the MBA can continue their training for 8 months at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami and get their Master of International Business. This 3-stage pathway is the Global MBA by ESIC, SISU, and FIU.
