Executive Master in Positive Leadership, Strategy & Transformation Overview

Positive leadership is positive psychology applied to the human challenges of the workplace.

The Executive Master in Positive Leadership, Strategy and Transformation is a groundbreaking program designed for experienced executives interested in achieving outstanding business results via the proven, hands-on methods of positive leadership.

By gaining a deep understanding of the hard science of positive psychology and human behavior, participants learn how to optimize overall strategy and business functions, architect new work processes, and design organizational structures to achieve optimal performance in themselves and the people they lead.

The program is based on a fundamentally new approach that draws on the science of positive psychology and strengths to give participants a set of tools they can use to become extraordinary leaders, and to transform the people, processes and functions of the organizations in which they work. It is designed to help them develop the mindsets required not only to manage, but to thrive as leaders in a business environment marked by intense workplace pressure, unrelenting change, and escalating competition.

The program is comprised of five non-consecutive, 6-day training modules, given once per business quarter in IE’s Madrid Campus. These modules are intense, transformative, and conclude with action plans that participants take back to work.

To lead this transformational experience in the classroom, the program brings together world-class faculty able to apply positive psychology to the challenges of leadership and business performance. They are not only the established leaders in their areas of specialization, but are also integrally involved in the emerging science of positive psychology.
