FAQs

For students from the following countries, the application deadline for enrolment is 1 Aug 2013: All EU/EEA countries, Australia, Canada, USA, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand. For students of all other nationalities, the application deadline for enrolment is 15 May 2013. This is due to the timelines for the application procedure with the Dutch Immigration Office (for your entry visa and residence permit). NOTE: There is only one intake per year. The next intake is scheduled for September 2013. A refresher course and boot camp will precede the academic curriculum in August 2013.
In addition to excellent Knowledge, Skills and Attitude, a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, econometrics, law or a related discipline, is required. Professional experience is preferred, but it is not mandatory for admission to the programme. In addition to these requirements, you must have a highly competitive GMAT or GRE score, and be highly proficient in the English language, as demonstrated by a TOEFL or IELTS score. A scanned copy of your GMAT and IELTS test results must be uploaded to your online application form directly. You may also use the following ETS code for GRE and TOEFL - 4235 Duisenberg school of finance GMAT code per programme: MSc Finance, Corporate Finance & Banking RDP-2F-31 MSc Finance, Financial Markets & Regulation RDP-2F-46 MSc Finance, Risk Management RDP-2F-91 No GMAT or GRE score required for applicants to the LLM Finance & Law programme.
Duisenberg school of finance only considers the quantitative scores of either the GMAT or GRE. Typically our students score in the tip 20% of this section. You may proceed with your application without submitting a GMAT or GRE score, however, final decisions are dependent on complete applications (including a GMAT or GRE score)
The tuition fee for all Duisenberg school of finance Master’s programmes is € 16,800 for students who are nationals of a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA). For non-EEA students the tuition fee is €28.000. We will help you find the funding necessary to cover 100% of your costs. All accepted students are eligible for a guaranteed ING Bank Loan.
Every non-EEA accepted student will be considered for a merit-based scholarship. Your tuition will depend on the merit of your admissions application. Our teaching methodology is career focused hence selection is rigorous and heavily based on your potential for employment after graduation. You will be evaluated for a merit tuition fee waiver the moment you apply to any one of DSF's Master's programmes. There is no separate application for this merit tuition fee waiver. The average tuition fee for the Class of 2011/2012 was €14.000. No merit-based scholarships will be awarded to EEA students. DSF corporate partners have introduced the reduced flat fee in August 2012 to enable more EEA students to finance their study in combination with a guaranteed ING Bank loan. Dutch and other EEA students are encouraged to consider internships and full time job opportunities at DSF corporate partners, but are not obliged to do so. The fee includes tuition and supervision, but does not include costs of course materials, laptop or living expenses, the latter of which will vary according to your circumstances and lifestyle. To reserve your seat, a € 2,000 deposit is required once you have confirmed that you will attend DSF. Note: In order to enable talented students from all over the world to follow a graduate degree programme at DSF, we have arranged a number of additional scholarships, as well as a special loan scheme, for which all selected candidates may be eligible.
