What are the different types of MBA programmes Lancaster University offers?
Lancaster University has three types of MBA programme: one full-time programme and two part-time programmes. The Lancaster MBA is a full-time programme designed for people with at least three years’ professional work experience who want to advance in their careers. The Lancaster Executive MBA is a part-time programme designed for people with at least five years' professional/managerial work experience. New in 2022, the Lancaster Cyber Security Executive MBA is a part-time MBA programme designed for middle and senior leaders who want executive training in managing cyber security risk.

Your sessions will typically involve group work and interactive discussion to draw out your experiences and relate them to the topic at hand.
In addition to exams and in-class tests, we will ask you to complete reports, reflective experiential learning papers, and academic essays, and deliver presentations.
Executive MBA:
We are launching a redesigned programme in 2025 designed to fit in with working full-time and studying part-time.
We offer online teaching combined with intensive in-person teaching blocks.
Our programme gives you practical, work-focused assignments, where you apply and evaluate theories you learn and create actionable recommendations for your organisation.
