Experiential Insight
Integrated and intensive experiential components are woven into coursework. These include case competitions, business simulations and real-world consulting for organizations.
All courses apply a global perspective to academic material. In addition, there are opportunities for domestic and international residencies in select programs.
A co-curricular skills-building program offers each student a customized set of workshops and speaking engagements on topics ranging from budgeting and negotiating to evaluating staff and working with boards, designed to aid each student's specific career advancement goals.
Focused and Flexible Curriculum
Drexel's 10-week quarters offer an advantage for accelerating the introductory accounting, finance and economics foundation courses required of all students, so you can get to the advanced courses in your areas of interest.
Starting in fall of 2011, five elective courses including cross-disciplinary courses offered by Drexel LeBow's Centers of Excellence are available for most MBA programs. The Centers facilitate faculty research and host programs that bring executives and academics together to explore and promote best practices for real-world business challenges.
Your elective credits can focus on traditional fields such as such as finance, marketing and accounting but in your flexible core you also have the flexibility to pursue topics such as corporate governance, reputation management, leadership or entrepreneurship and international business.
