Students are attracted to the University of Miami School of Business for its unique location, flexible curriculum and outstanding professional growth opportunities. More than 15 countries are represented in the fall 2010 class. The diversity of the student body in a city known as a global business portal contributes to an outstanding learning environment. Not only are students part of one of the largest alumni networks of any business school, they study among the most qualified students and learn from one of the most distinguished faculties in the world.

UM's Full-time MBA program is a 56-credit, lock-step program that is completed in less than two calendar years. Students typically enroll in elective courses during the third semester and the first term of the fourth semester of the program. Students can complete a concentration based on completion of appropriate electives. Graduate assistantships that award up to 75 percent tuition are available for full time students entering in the fall semester.

Summer internship opportunities are available through the Ziff Graduate Career Services Center. The center promotes graduate business students to the local and national business communities and strengthens relations with recruiters in order to secure the best possible career opportunities upon graduation.

Those who have earned an undergraduate business degree within the last seven years from an accredited university may complete the MBA in 32-credit hours, also on a full-time basis, lock step and cohort in nature. Admissions for the One-year MBA program is in January.

In addition to the Full-time MBA, UM offers Executive MBA, MBA for Working Professionals programs, and MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy programs, as well as a Spanish-language MBA program.
