Overview
Like other top 50 MBA programs, the Terry MBA Program welcomes people with strong academic and work credentials. But more than that, we are seeking people who want to grow as leaders and who will contribute to the collaborative spirit of our program. The Terry MBA Program takes a practical, concrete approach to developing specific skills and behaviors that comprise the abstract concept of leadership. Therefore, we are looking for MBA students who are interested not only in growing their business acumen, but also in growing themselves. We encourage applicants to think about how much courage they would bring to this process, because success will be measured not by how much you know about leadership, but by your willingness to set stretch goals for yourself and to take risks to grow as a leader.
Total enrollment for the full-time programs ranges from 120 to 150 students. Typically, each entering class has averaged a 660 GMAT, 3.40 GPA, and 56 months of work experience. At Terry, students quickly get to know everyone else in the program. Together with our faculty and staff, MBA students create a supportive environment where everyone feels it's safe to take risks and try new things.
