Student Profile - Full-Time MBA
Students in the Early Career MBA or the MBA for Career Change programs are preparing for their first professional position or career change in business, government or not-for-profit organizations. They come from around the world and across the United States. The average student is 24 years of age and has from zero to three years of full-time work experience. Forty percent of the students are women, and 60 percent are men. Thirty-eight percent are international students, and 16 percent are members of U.S. multicultural groups. Undergraduate major areas of study include business, social science, liberal arts, economics, engineering, math, and science.
Student Profile MBA for Professionals
MBA for Professionals students are preparing for career advancement and enhancement, have at least three years of full-time professional experience and are fully employed while completing their MBA. They represent a wide variety of organizations from the Portland metropolitan area (business, consulting, entrepreneurial ventures, government, not-for-profits). The average student is 33 years of age and has 3 to 25 years of work experience. Thirty-nine percent of students are women, and 61 percent are men. Undergraduate major areas of study include business, social science, liberal arts, economics, engineering, math, and science.
