The MBA General Management part-time is divided into four terms over a period of 24 months. The program covers topics from three major General Management modules. In addition, students can select two out of four elective courses. Classes take place bi-weekly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. Two International Weeks at the end of Flex-Terms 2 and 3 offer further insights into European and Asian business environments and help enhance the students.

Target Group

The MBA General Management part-time prepares managers and future leaders for working in a complex multicultural world. It targets German and international candidates with a non-business degree but offers enough depth for business degree holders seeking to further refine and strengthen their education.

Overall Objective
The MBA General Management is designed to give its participants an excellent knowledge base in General Management. In addition, they choose two of four elective courses to further deepen your business proficiency. It enhances your individual competencies to be an emphatic and highly performing leader, and provides students with deep insights into international markets and cultures.

Content and Structure

The MBA General Management is divided into three terms and time for the Master Thesis over a period of 24 months. The program covers topics from three major General Management modules: Business & Management Knowledge, Executive & Leadership Skills, and International Business Environment. In addition, you select two out of four elective courses. Two International Weeks at the end of Flex-Terms 2 and 3 offer further insights into European and Asian business environments and help enhance your international network. With their Master Thesis, MBA General Management students demonstrate a profound understanding of current business topics and the ability to apply specific scientific methods to a real-world business situation. The part-time format of the MBA General Management allows you to study without putting your professional career on hold or waiving a regular income. Furthermore, it gives you the chance to immediately apply your newly acquired knowledge and share and discuss your daily professional experiences with your fellow classmates.

Each of the three first terms begins with a so-called Intensive Week (Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm), kick-starting the MBA General Management program with a whole week of seminars, trainings as well as teambuilding and networking events. All further courses are held bi-weekly on Friday afternoons (4pm-8pm) and Saturdays (9am-6pm).
