One of the important factors when considering a master's degree is the cost of study. Luckily, there are many options available to help students fund their master's programme. There is no application deadline. The application process is closed when the program starts or when the class is full in order to guarantee quality and best learning outcome. We recommend to apply as early as possible because since appointments for the admission interview will be scheduled when as soon as our backoffice has received your application (via email or post).
What financing options do you offer?
Once you apply, an application fee falls due, which is non-refundable. After that, the admission interview will be scheduled and once you are admitted, you have to pay 10% from the tuition fee as a “Seat Confirmation Fee”. This amount has to be transferred within 2 weeks after admission to guarantee your place in the program. After that you can decide between: a) Rate payment without interest. The full tuition fee has to be paid before the graduation. Your individual payment plan will be worked out together with the responsible program manager. b) Pay the full amount at once.
Are there scholarships available?
The WU Executive Academy offers a wide range of scholarships. Currently we are grating partial scholarships for the Executive MBA (Bucharest) amounting to EUR 15,000 each. Application deadline is September 30. For our Professional MBAs we offer CEE Partial-Scholarships. Detailed information is available on our website. What should I point out in the personal essay and how long should be the answers?
In the personal essay, you should point out why you are the right candidate for a challenging MBA program. We are interested in your career, your personality, your motivation and your goals. Half a page for each question is adequate.
Which requirements should the letters of recommendation meet?
One letter of recommendation should be from your direct supervisor of your company, the other one can be from a colleague on the same level, a former employer,… If you are self-employed and the boss of your company, it would be great if you could submit letters from business partners who knows you for a longer period. Letters of recommendation can be submitted later than the other documents but latest one day before the interview via email as scan. Originals must be provided during the personal interview latest if not submitted before. Your boss, colleagues,… can use their own (company) paper but the grid which is provided in the application document is mandatory and must be filled out.
