Do I have to submit an application form or can I send my CV?
The official online Oxford MBA Application Form must be completed. Applicants must also submit a CV. This should be uploaded to the online application form. Please note that only completed applications with the application processing fee and all supporting documentation will be considered. We shall contact you once we have processed your application and let you know if there are any outstanding documents for you to submit.
I don’t have an undergraduate degree, but I do have six years work experience. Will you still consider my application?
Only in very exceptional circumstances we consider applications without undergraduate degree. Six years of work experience alone would be sufficient unless the nature of that experience were exceptional.
Can you give me any advice about how to answer the essay questions?
- Be honest - Be clear - Keep your audience (the admissions committee) in mind - Be professional and not too personal - Spell check - Ask a friend to read them before you submit the essays, does s/he understand what you are trying to say.
Are there any age restrictions?
No. The average age of the current class is 29 and ranges from 24 to 42. Younger candidates need to be able to demonstrate a high level of maturity, combined with evidence of leadership ability.
Do I have to take the GMAT?
Yes, all candidates are required to take the GMAT test. Please ensure that the test scores are forwarded by GMAC (Graduate Management Admissions Council) to the Saïd Business School (code Q0G-4B-59). GMAT scores will not be valid if they are more than five years old on the application deadline date of the stage in which you are applying. Please contact GMAC directly to arrange to take the test.
