If you’re an MBA candidate from Africa and want to study at an international business school, there are plenty of resources to help you finance your b-school journey.

Here at TopMBA, we’ve compiled a list of scholarships from a number of top European business schools that you should consider applying to.

London Business School – African Scholarship

Open to: Accepted MBA applicants who are nationals of African countries

Number of scholarships: 1

What it covers: £20,000

Application process: All eligible candidates are automatically considered

London Business School – Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship

Open to: Accepted MBA applicants who are nationals of African countries

Number of scholarships: 1

What it covers: Full tuition costs

Application process: All eligible candidates are automatically considered 

London Business School – Palm Hills Scholarship

Open to: Accepted MBA applicants who are nationals of African countries, with a preference for candidates from Egypt

Number of scholarships: 1

What it covers: £35,000

Application process: All eligible candidates are automatically considered 

ESMT Africa Scholarship

Open to: Accepted candidates with a permanent residency in any African country and a strong intention to promote business development in Africa

What it covers: Up to 50 percent of tuition costs

Number of scholarships: 2

Application process: Candidates must submit an essay along with their ESMT application 

INSEAD MBA’75 Nelson Mandela Endowed Scholarship

Open to: Accepted nationals of a sub-Saharan African country, with a preference for those who require proven financial assistance

What it covers: Between €20,000 and €25,000

Application process: Candidates must submit an essay  

 

Saïd Business School Foundation Africa Scholarships

Open to: Accepted MBA applicants who are nationals of African countries

What it covers: Partial tuition fees up to £20,000

Number of scholarships: Varies per year, usually between 10 and 15

Application: All eligible candidates are automatically considered 

Birmingham Business School – African MBA Scholarship

Open to: Accepted MBA candidates who are nationals of African countries

What it covers: Full tuition costs

Number of scholarships: 1
