The International Academy of Business (IAB) developed out of the Almaty School of Management. Founded in 1988, ASM was a dynamic business school, with a good reputation among businessmen of Kazakhstan, and the international society for managerial education development. Transformation of ASM into IAB was conducted in accordance with the Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan ?1387 as of November 14, 1996. Currently, a stable comprehensive structure of education is formed in IAB: undergraduate programmes, MBA (Master of Business Administration) programmes, DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) programmes, and also a professional skills improvement programme that gives an opportunity to obtain up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in economics, management, finance, marketing, informatics and business. Mission of the International Academy of BusinessWe train the new generation of managers for democratic Kazakhstan on the basis of the international cooperation, mutual interaction with business and the energy of the creative and initiative team of professionals.
