Thousands of professionals have completed the Purdue Executive MBA programs over the past 35 years, often during challenging times as well. Now those Boilermakers are executives at companies that are having to find new and innovative ways to do business in this unprecedented environment. Their MBA degree doesn’t give them all the answers. But it allows them to ask better questions and manage change and uncertainty effectively. Purdue is moving forward with its two EMBA programs for the very reason that the knowledge, skills, and friendships formed in the program are more important than ever. It is not business as usual for our students, so they need to gain leadership skills, financial acumen, strategic insights and more that Purdue provides. We cap our cohorts at 30 which will allow for appropriate social distancing when on-campus to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff. Food is provided individually and our facilities are dedicated to our programs, limiting interactions with outside persons. We understand the financial challenges people are facing, so we continuing our scholarship support for qualified applicants. Our programs review applications on a rolling basis so that students have clarity on their opportunity to join Purdue without an extensive wait. Additionally, we have extended application and deposit deadlines to provide more time for uncertainty to go down and to adjust to the new normal. If students need to defer, they can do so for one year without needing to reapply. The Purdue EMBA continues to hold monthly topical webinars during which applicants can speak with alums.
