About Université Laval

Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration (FSA) is one of the most modern business schools in Canada. Guided by the visionary spirit of its founders, the FSA has been a leader in the community since 1924. More than 26,000 of its successful graduates have had significant influence in the field of business in Quebec, in Canada and abroad. Our quest for excellence led to the FSA’s accreditation by the AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Moreover, Université Laval’s FSA was the first non-anglophone school in the world to receive this accreditation, which recognizes the international calibre of its academic programs. Each year, more than 6 000 students choose to build their future at the FSA, of which 10% are international students. The Faculty is proud of its team of more than 100 faculty, the majority of whom have a Ph.D. from a North American or European university. Up to date on the international challenges and the new trends in business administration, our faculty are highly qualified and always available for students. Experienced sessional instructors and visiting professors are also part of our teaching team. Additionally, about 60 administrative staff members support students in their pursuit of success. Attentive to the different socioeconomic environments and to the needs of our community, the FSA is constantly innovating by offering leading edge training opportunities and by developing research and development projects in collaboration with the business community. The FSA is also in the forefront of the use of IT for business education. Classes and study areas have all been equipped with wired and laptop not only in the business school but throughout the campus. Majority of the courses or course materials are available online and a number of tools are available for collaborative learning. The Faculty's Trading Floor put to the use of students and faculty 40 leading edge trading stations with access to real time financial data in over 200 countries. Users can access data from the following systems like Reuters BridgeStation, StockVal and Bloombers.Université Laval’s MBA is a 45 credit/hour program offering an excellent professional training in Business Administration with 17 different concentrations. Flexible, embracing the international dimension of management and centered on practical learning, this program is designed to train highly qualified leaders.
