SBS-EM values
Several core values underpin the Solvay experience:
Living and studying in Brussels
Brussels might not be a sprawling metropolis, but its impact is huge. This triple capital – of Europe, Belgium, and Flanders – punches well above its weight with international influence.
Home to the EU and NATO, a magnet for over 1,000 global corporations, and teeming with over 400,000 expats (35%), Brussels has a buzzing cosmopolitan atmosphere. Yet it retains a laid-back charm and friendly, human scale. The city is refreshingly walkable, easy to navigate and has plenty of green space, adding to its liveable feel and sustainability.
About Brussels:
Accreditations and recognition:
SBS-EM is accredited by AMBA and EQUIS, and is in the process of achieving AACSB accreditation: the three major international accreditations for business schools. It is also ranked among the top business schools in the world by several leading publications.

What do alumni think?
“Apart from providing real practical tools and insights, our professors and coaches also served as consultants. I could take the advice and feedback we received on our assignments, as well as during class discussions and coaching sessions, and immediately apply it to my startup.” Dietrich Moens, CEO & Co-founder at Spacehuntr
“My Executive MBA was a very enriching experience, a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a new environment, a new context and alongside a new personal network. I made great friends and gained a wealth of experience. Although the programme was very challenging, particularly while trying to balance working and having a family, the course helped me prioritise and balance my many responsibilities. Overall, I enjoyed everything a lot.” Anke Sieg Global Early Commercial Strategy Director at UCB
