Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University (SLU) was the first institution of higher education west of the Mississippi River and the John Cook School of Business (JCSB) has the distinction of being the 15th-oldest business school in the United States. In 2006 we changed our full-time MBA to a one-year program; our part-time MBA is ranked 14th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and 10th in the Midwest by Business Week; both of these rankings are the best in Missouri.Outstanding Faculty The JCSB takes pride in a faculty that is not only up-to-date with the latest trends in business, but made up of people who enjoy connecting with our students as well. Our faculty are well-recognized scholars, who are also approachable, available and care passionately about the success of their students.
