US business schools are beginning to publish their MBA class profiles for the incoming class and the numbers are interesting. For one thing, a number of schools made significant progress in enrolling women, including Emory’s Goizueta Business School and Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, which appears to have set a new record for female enrollment at a US business school, topping the 40%+ levels set by Harvard and Wharton last year. Yet despite all the debate and discussion over women and business school in the last year, six of the 14 schools listed below enrolled a smaller percentage of women than last year and another three made no progress at all.
