Was working in Dubai prior to going to Oxford for an MBA. Worked in Jumbo Electronics, a leading firm in Dubai (sole distributors of all SONY Products)

2. Why did you choose MBA ?

It made very good sense for a professional career.
It's like a "Calling Card".
I had the relevant work experience and had saved up money for the MBA as well.

3. Why did you choose Oxford ?

- An excellent brand name, despite being relatively new.
- Attracted by the course content.
- One year MBA was a priority.
- Web Site, brochure, course attracted me.
- Core project on how to start a business and the end of the year corporate one - New Business Development Project.
- City Search for the UK. Corporate Training with IBM.

4. What are the benefit from studieing outside of your home country?

The major difference is international exposure.
There is also a more informal atmosphere - you can address the Dean by his first name!
In India, there is less flexibility. For example, engineers are confined to engineering.. Here you can hang around with people from a wide range of departments.

5. How are you financing your MBA ?

Full Tuition Scholarship QUEDA, they are giving 4 scholarships each year to develop international experience at Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial. To qualify you need a GMAT score of 700 or above.

6. MBA helped professionally ?

You certainly have more choice after MBA - business consulting (from sales marketing) - project development / strategy development in Dubai and operationalize it.
