ESA Ecole Superieure des Affaires

The Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) has been designed and is managed according to the norms of the best management schools in France and Europe; it is run by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP) and is an associate center of ESCP Europe, an institution unanimously renown for the high quality of its programs. Thanks to its outstanding and rigorous organization, ESA allows students, executives and managers from Lebanon and the Middle-East to benefit from a high-level training in an open and dynamic country located at the crossroads of a unique economic, cultural and linguistic heritage. ESA was jointly founded by the French and Lebanese Governments in order to provide Beirut with a world-class Business School.The idea of establishing in Beirut an important Business School on the French model goes back to several years and was launched and promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP).Convinced of the necessity to reinforce the French-Lebanese cooperation in the field of management education, the French Embassy in Lebanon adopted the CCIP idea of creating a higher education institution for management close to the business circles' concerns.A partnership was therefore set up between the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris. ESA was officially founded on April 5th, 1996, by virtue of a governmental agreement between France and Lebanon and a convention between the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris.
