The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia has a full-time MBA program for students who want to pursue a career in business. They aim to attract students that have a passion for both business and people; the MBA teaches students the skills required to manage people, data, and systems to solve the increasingly complex problems of the business world.
The Georgia MBA program has core courses that provide students with a solid foundation of general management principles. There are also nine concentrations and three areas of emphasis (strategy ,fin tech, and social innovation) available, to maximize the potential for employment. The concentrations include business analytics, strategy emphasis, entrepreneurship, finance, fintech emphasis, healthcare management, human resource management, marketing, operations management, real estate, risk management, and social innovation emphasis.
The Georgia MBA program at the Terry College of Business understands that business is a global experience. So, they incorporate an international residency into the full-time MBA program; each spring the program offers a three-credit, short-term trip abroad. The destinations allow students to truly experience business in a wholly different climate, with locations such as Shanghai, Beijing, and Buenos Aires providing students with a diverse learning opportunity.
The class profile of the Georgia MBA program at the Terry College of Business is varied. The school wants each class to bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to enrich the program and the culture. The class of 2024 has 69 students, and the average age is 26. The average student has 51 months of prior work experience. Females make up 35% of the student body, with international students making up 17%. The average GMAT score is 672.
The Terry School of Business MBA graduates enjoy a huge success rate post graduation, with 98% of graduates accepting an offer of employment within three months of graduation. The average starting salary for the class of 2022 was US$120,510, with a signing bonus of $21,533. A further 100% in the class of 2023 that were seeking an internship had the opportunity to participate in one. The MBA Career Management Center partners with the students of the MBA program to help them earn positions at top companies. Hiring companies from the Georgia MBA program include RockTenn, AT&T, Novelis, Delta Air Lines, Bank of America, Apple, The Coca-Cola Company, IBM, Cox Enterprises, ADP, LLC, Ernst & Young, and First Data Corporation.

- Two (2) years of professional work experience (post-bachelors degree) before entering the program
- A one-page business résumé
- Two letters of recommendation (professional recommendations are preferred)
- Unofficial copies* of your transcripts from each institution attended for college credit
- Self-reported* GMAT or GRE scores (Select applicants may apply for a test score waiver. Please review the application instructions for more information.)
- Self-reported* TOEFL or IELTS scores (for non-native English speakers)
- Essays (two required, one optional)
