What are the deadlines for the program?

The Full-Time MBA has 5 application rounds. The first deadline is October 10, 2019 and our final deadline is June 1, 2020.  Please review our website for more information about deadlines and requirements.

We strive to make the application process as smooth and transparent as possible. We consider every applicant for merit aid. Interviews are by invitation only, and each application is reviewed holistically. The Admissions Committee looks for self-aware, bright, accomplished team players with a strong sense of purpose who can think on their feet. Our program is very collaborative, collegial, and team-focused.

What are the admissions requirements?

The online application includes the application form itself, one essay, one optional essay, two professional references, unofficial transcripts, and self-reported test scores. More information about our requirements can be found here.

All applicants are considered for merit-based aid. Merit-based aid awards include both graduate assistantships and scholarships and are renewable for the second year of the program. Graduate assistantships include a full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend of around $1,000 USD in exchange for a 13 hour per week work requirement supporting a Terry faculty member or program office, 

What is the class size?
We are currently enrolling about 65 students a year. Our small class size allows for a high degree of faculty/student interaction, dedicated staff support, and personalized career development support.
What concentrations do you offer?
We offer nine concentrations: Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Real Estate, and Risk Management. These concentrations can be combined and many of our students choose to customize their program study. We also offer three areas of emphasis - FinTech, Consulting, and Social Innovation - which can also be combined with a concentration.
What is unique about the Georgia MBA program?
We offer a supportive learning environment and our students are a very close-knit, collaborative community. We are a highly selective program that provides a high level of flexibility and personalization to our students. We offer numerous applied learning opportunities through project-based courses, including our global consulting project, and experiential learning opportunities that enable our students to develop their leadership style while working with Athens companies and non-profits or Atlanta-based for-profit companies. These, along with our Non Profit Board Fellows program and other program activities (case competitions, community service projects, etc.), enable our students to build our their resumes while having a positive impact on a company or an organization.
