For soon-to-be MBA students, there is precious little time left until the rigors of their program gets fully underway. Of course, this is a long-anticipated challenge for any new intake. Elsewhere, the rigors of MBA admissions are the order of the day. Texas Wannabe Cali offers a peak at her 30 day crunch-time schedule as her GMAT test day rapidly approaches.
Perhaps MBA on My Mind, who has seen July fly by, could take some advice from these first two examples in maximizing time.
Meanwhile, Hugo in the Middle has entered the practice GMAT test cycle – and has already been producing the kind of scores he may hope to translate to the actual test!
Practice tests are also on the menu for Grant Me Admission, who kicks things into a higher gear after completing his last round.
EF Essays, who has been producing section-by-section breakdowns that may prove helpful to those prepping for the GMAT, has now moved on to the verbal sections of the GMAT.
Temporary visual impairment isn’t the most commonly-cited reason for dropping out of an intended GMAT test day, but it’s what happened to Naija MBA Gal. Naija took to the positives, however, and redoubled her efforts during her unplanned stay of execution. In a later post, she walks us through her applications and how complete they are at present.
Wharton’s online application is now live, which kicks off the start to its application/admissions cycle as well as marking the beginning of its academic year. McCombs School of Business has also released an explanation of their latest essay questions.
Finally, if you ever find yourself wondering about appropriate dress and behavior, MBA Notebook’s etiquette guide for men could be worth a look!
Mike's remit covers content, SEO and blogger outreach. Outside of his work for TopMBA.com, he is an assistant coach for MLU outfit, the Portland Stags.
