Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! A festive time of year to everyone! Happy New Year! Positive non-discriminatory winter solstice greetings to everyone!

Cheers, congratulatory remarks, and public recognition of hard work: congrats to My Journey to Business School (once again), who now has three excellent programs to choose from:  Tepper, Kellogg, and most recently UCLA Anderson! And also to Hugo, who got into Duke Fuqua (was there ever much doubt after that 760?). Naija Girl MBA has dried her eyes, put her chin up, and recovered after a couple rough dings…getting into Booth helps, no doubt!

And now for some more business-like post updates.

Scott Duncan offers us all a little end of the year gift with his reflections on the difference a year makes (also congrats on the acceptance into MIT Sloan!). EF Essays slings another school profile our way, this time it’s Texas McCombs, deep in the heart of the Lonestar State.

And a couple of GMAT updates for you: Pulling that MBA Trigger got a 700, but cancelled it since 700 is less than 710. My Life of Bliss think’s her dream is over because of the 680 on the GMAT. But it is far from done, just ask Naija Girl. We are all rooting for you!

George Mason Business School students share why they decided to go to GMU.  And, finally, No-pay MBA adds fuel to the MOOC discussion fire with some insights on how to translate your coursework into gains in your job.
