About Aalto Executive Education Academy

The Aalto Executive MBA program from Finland, is prepared and presented by a world-class faculty of professors from both Aalto University and renowned business schools across the globe. Presentations and assignments encourage participants to link the academic input on the latest business and management theories with their professional experience in organizations and to reflect upon their own views and practices. Aalto Executive MBA is designed around the four major areas of strategy, leadership, finance and marketing, with a special emphasis on strategy and leadership in a global context. Strategy is approached from a variety of perspectives with an emphasis on inventive strategies and novel business models. Leadership covers a range of themes from self-leadership to leading and inspiring others. Each module is carefully prepared with the program director and faculty coming together to slightly customize the module content that fits the class demographic and market environment. In addition to globally relevant content, the Aalto Executive MBA provides participants with an opportunity to expand their cultural knowledge and skills. Up to four modules can be taken at other Aalto EE locations in Europe and Asia. Two elective modules during International Week and one elective module during study tour abroad contributes further to developing cross-cultural competence. The Aalto Executive MBA program holds the “Triple Crown” of accreditation. These three most respected academic accreditation, AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, are granted to only 0,4 % of world’s business schools. The first Nordic “Triple Crown” institution, Aalto Executive MBA ranked as the best Executive MBA in the Nordic countries by the Financial Times. -Program Schedule and In-Class Sessions- The Aalto Executive MBA program can be completed in 20 months. The program has a modular structure and follows a six-week learning cycle. Modules are typically held once a month. • Three weeks pre-reading w or w/o pre-assignment • Actual class of 2.5 days - Friday 15.00 - 21.30, Saturday and Sunday 09.30 - 18.30 • Three weeks post assignment w or w/o in-class test -Maximizing Class Knowledge and Discussion- Aalto Executive MBA's cultural diversified group of participants is typically 40 years in age on average with APAC work experience. Aalto EE helps participants maximize their learning experience by mixing individuals from different industries and job functions into groups. Aalto Executive MBA classes are held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore or equivalent for a conducive learning environment. You will complete two elective modules close to heart of the hosting country and also have a unique opportunity to meet business leaders and network with EMBA participants.
