About Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of New South Wales Business School

Based in Sydney, Australia, AGSM @ UNSW Business School’s globally ranked MBA programs are designed and led by leading academics and experienced practitioners who combine the latest research and industry best practice in a collaborative, outcome-focused environment. Our programs embed sustainability and responsible management throughout and incorporate the impacts of technological disruption and data analytics in all courses. 

The AGSM campus is set in the middle of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, with world-famous beaches and parks on our doorstep, and our CBD campus is a short commute away. AGSM is your launchpad for all Sydney has to offer: the iconic Bondi and Coogee beaches are minutes away and you’ll find world-famous restaurants and entertainment just 15 minutes away in the heart of our harbourside city.

Every year, we award nearly $AUD2 million in Scholarships to students in our Full-Time MBA program. Scholarships are available for Academic Excellence, Women in Leadership, Military Leaders, Global Impact, and Community Leadership.

We partner with some of the world’s leading business schools to open the door for you to study part of your degree while on exchange, including NYU Stern, London Business School, Wharton, Bocconi, HEC Paris and The National University of Singapore. UNSW Business School belongs to the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). AGSM MBA students have access to this network, including the Global Network Week intensive elective courses. The network spans over 30 business schools in 30+ countries and focuses on preparing students to be global, sustainable leaders.

Career Accelerator @ AGSM, our dedicated career development centre, gives students access to an extensive industry partner network, online personal career management platform, dedicated on-campus recruitment, career resources, internships, and case competitions.

Yes, we offer a range of scholarships open to all applicants of the MBA Full-time program. These range from 25%, 50% and up to 100% tuition waiver. 

GMAT is mandatory for all applicants considering the MBA Full-time program. GMAT is not a requirement of the MBA Executive or MBAX programs.

Yes, an English test is required from anyone applying from a non-English speaking country.

Yes, should you apply or the MBA Full-time program the student visa would qualify you to work a maximum of 40 hours per week while studying. No Student visa is given to the MBE Executive or MBAX programs.

Yes, partners and children are eligible to come to Australia on the student visa. While you are studying your partner would have full working rights.
